Can't open file: 'textpattern.MYI'
So I got this message when trying to view the textpattern table in my database:

Anyone else ever get this message???
(Edit: updated topic subject to something more helpful. :) -Mary)

Re: Can't open file: 'textpattern.MYI'
Sorry. I should have given more info. I was viewing the database in phpMyAdmin on my web host. I had an error that said: “Undefined function call to parse(); in /path/to/txp_misc.php on line 1310” and read that the ‘textpattern’ table in the database needed to be repaired. Not knowing how to do that I just dumped everything from the db except that table and then dropped everything to rebuild. Bad move. No backup. Basically I’m rewriting all the articles from scratch for a friend’s/client’s site.
Anyhow, back to the point, when I tried to browse the ‘textpattern’ table in the db with phpMyAdmin, that’s the error I got.

That’s a corrupt database. Repairing the table and/or restoring a backup is the right course of action.
