Posting without login in

Greetings

I’m working on a anonymous weblog idea. The idea is to make posting anonymous (duh) and keep it as simple as possible so anyone can post quickly.

As I already work with TP I wish to use it as the blogging engine behind the project. My problem is to make a simple interface available for posting.

I would like to provide the users a simple form inside the website layout so they can simply post.

Is there any way of accomplishing this?

A plugin. But, it’s not simple, a very significant amount of work.

Souljacker:

do you want your anonymous weblog site to allow comments on anonymous posts too?

That’s what I was thinking about … why?

Re: Posting without login in

If you didn’t want comments then I thought you could just set up a container article and rewrite the comments form a little to have people post ‘mini-articles’ via the comment form. In fact these ‘articles’ would be nothing more than dressed up comments. A pretty horrible mutilation of TXP really.

But if you want people to be able to comment on what others have posted it simply won’t do.

Sorry!

@mary,
yep – much work. Unless existing plugins are modded to a new one.
