Category browse popup selector.
“I need” a popup selector which include the category tree, as it now only lists all categories in a alfabethical order without regards to its parent.
Anyone have a solution? : ) Thank you!

Re: Category browse popup selector.
As far as I know you can’t do this with txp tags (there might be a plugin, but you’ll have to search for it). If your categories don’t change often you can always handcode it (look at the source of this page to see how it’s done).

Re: Category browse popup selector.
so the selector on this forum is hardcoded? same as the one in the admin interface, sounds a bit strange that this option is not implemented as this is one of few ways to navigate the site – tree wise.
but I might hardcode it then, thanks :-)

Re: Category browse popup selector.
The “selector” on this forum is powered by the forum software, not Textpattern.
Check the resources site (see link above), there may be a plugin that can help you do this. If, in the end, you hardcode it, be sure and use a form and include it in whatever pages rather than adding it by hand to every page. :)
