Request/idea: set url scheme by section
You know what would be really handy? Being able to set, e.g., my “glossary” section to “/section/title” and my “blog” section to “/date/title”.
I know there are redirect plugins that make it possible to use multiple URL schemes, but it would be a huge relief to be able to just set this by section in the admin, and not worry about special permlinks for everything (and conditionals and extra page templates…).
I find it comes up a lot with Txp, because it can act as both a CMS and a blogging tool, and those two applications have different URL conventions.
If there’s a plug-in that can handle this already, I’d love to know! If not, I’d love love love to see somebody add this.
