Hide email-address and don't link it in comments

Hi all,
first of all I would like to thank all people investigating in this forum. I’m new here and I’m now going to address my problem:
I would like to use the gravatar-plugin. So far so good. Gravatar needs a valid email-address from the user and until now I had removed this email-input field.

What I would like to have is the following thing:
When one gives a comment, enters his email, but not a webiste, his name should not link to his email-address. His email-address should not be printed anywhere. Is use “< txp:comment_name / >”.

Is there a way to get around this feature, which links the email address if no website is specified?

Thanks in advance and best regards, Manu

Go to Admin>Preferences>Advanced Preferences>Never display email? and click the Yes radio button
