That’s odd. Could be a bug, I suppose. Try my suggestion below first, though…
I was using the plugin in what might be a slightly unusual way: in an article.
I’m using it in an article, too. Seems to be doing okay for me that way. If you’re not already, try just using the <txp:zem_contact /> tag in your article with whatever options you need (such as show_error="no") and form="[your form name here]". Put the field layout into the specified form instead of in the article. Perhaps that would fix your problems.
More detailed instructions can be found in the documentation.
PS>I like your sig quote!
Thanks. :-)

Hello, that might be it. I am simply using all the fields I wanted in the article body between the <txp:zem_contact> and </txp:zem_contact> tags. That means no form attribute to the tag.
I just did a quick test on my localhost setup. Not quite what you suggested above but just to repro the problem.
I added one <txp:zem_contact (...snip...) show_input="no"/> before the existing tag and changed the existing tag to have a show_errors=“no”.
Here’s the page as I fill it out with some junk — no problem so far.
Here’s the result —yuck!
When I try to move the field defs from my article into another form and include it using the form=“name” attribute, I get an error on my page saying: ‘form ”contact_form” does not exist’! :(
Never mind. For now the implementation I have will do fine but I would like to get to the bottom of this eventually.
Thanks for all your help Adam.

Re: Plug-in: zem_contact_reborn
Sorry I couldn’t help you get it working the way you wanted. I haven’t messed with the separation of error messages from the form itself yet, since all my contact forms have been at or near the top of the page they appear on. If all else fails, I suppose you could move the form up?

uhh, spamming anyone? I’m thinking of adding a “not spam” checkbox, has that helped anyone?
Thanks people of the contact form,

Re: Plug-in: zem_contact_reborn
So far, no spam for me. A required “no spam” field might do some good, but some spam scripts will fill something into every field just to make sure all requirements are met.
How about a CAPTCHA plugin using zem_contact_reborn’s plugin API? A good one would have to accomodate blind visitors, of course.

Re: Plug-in: zem_contact_reborn
I am using many radio buttons all with there own names and subsequent labels. Only one sends it’s results to the ‘to’ email. As per instructions for the plugin all is correct. Like so:
txp:zem_contact_radio name=“steak” label=“Well Done”
txp:zem_contact_radio name=“steak” label=“Medium”
txp:zem_contact_radio name=“steak” label=“Rare”
txp:zem_contact_radio name=“drink” label=“Wine”
txp:zem_contact_radio name=“drink” label=“Water”
I have about 10 different ones each with their own name=”“
Con’t seem to figure this out. Any ideas on what I can do to get the WHOLE form to send it’s results the email

Only one item from each “name” set can be selected and this will be the only item from that “name” set shown in the email. That is the way it is coded and we don’t intend to change it.

Re: Plug-in: zem_contact_reborn
I can’t give an exact date for version .18 and you should re-read this post for both the reason for this and also information on things that won’t be in it.
I should remind everyone that there is currently a bug in the “show_error” attribute which has been fixed in .18 so if you are having problem with it that is the likely cause.

Stuart,
Right. So with multiple “name” sets I could have a selection per each. No? I have multiple “name” sets and only results from one come in. This is what I didn’t clarify I guess.

Re: Plug-in: zem_contact_reborn
Sorry. I misunderstood. Yes. The selected item from each and every “name” set should appear in the email. It’s definitely working for me. Anyone else having this problem??

<blockquote> Hi Stuart,
I see a small bug with ZCR .17 (I have the latest versions of all 3 plugins, and all active).
I entered an incorrect email i.e me@mypost.co and the form was submitted (into space obviously!). Then with me@mypost. and that did not go – the error message came up as expected. Finally, with me@mypost.c – the form was submitted.
</blockquote>
I was just able to send emails with incorrect email addresses. Well, I was testing my css styling for errror messages, wrote some mumbojambo to all the fields, email address I entered was actually just “ppppppppppp” and the email was sent and received without no error message.
I retested it with live site, entering n@some.c and same thing happened.
Zem_contact version 4.0.3.17, pap_contact_cleaner and zem_contact_lang installed as well. Is this a known issue or is it just me messing on saturday night? :D

Mmmm. It’s Saturday already you say. ;)
I can’t get any of those examples to work here which is version .17 so can I ask if you have “copy sender” activated?

And you haven’t activated it in the tag?
