Internationalization means more than just system language files
It also means documentation.
Most likely not a lot of eyes have fallen on the recent efforts to make TextBook more international, or rather, to make the already existing international aspects more visible.
Truth be told, documentation efforts for Textpattern (international or otherwise) are too distributed, and that’s a shame. It would be better to bring your contributions to TextBook and help push it to maturity quicker. It’s no longer necessary to write in English first, add your own language content and try to get to the English translation later (or let another translater pick up the tab), it’s all good.
Would love to see some other languages started and/or better supported in TextBook. With enough bilingual contributors, TextBook could more rapidly become a robust resource the whole online world can benefit from.
If you ever have ideas for TextBook International, constructive ideas, please make them known in here.
Thanks for your eyes.
