integrating textpattern into existing website?
The front page of my website – www.rocat.co.uk – amounts to a blog without the ease of use and comments features I would like … would it be possible to integrate textpattern into my existing front page, and keep the rest of the website the way it is?

Re: integrating textpattern into existing website?
hi cristofa
Check this FAQs:
can I use TXP to do this?
how do i embed textpattern in an external page
Yes, you can keep all the rest of the website the way it is and manage only the front-page with TXP.
You will need to re-make all your front-page inside the TXP (an easy task), so it can be managed through the TXP interface.
Finally, TXP is more friendly with XHTML/CSS layouts… the front-page of that site is made with tables and presentational mark-up… that’s a no-no in 2006.

Re: integrating textpattern into existing website?
thanks for your prompt response – I will check out that link.
And I know the site should be CSS – the next one will be, but this had to be a basic affair due to lack of time and money at the time it was produced. It has served us very well, though, in spite of its lack of sophistication.
