How do I change the default responses to moderated comments?
Greetings. How do I change this, and other, default messages: “Thank you for adding your comment. Your comment is pending moderation. It will appear after it has been approved.”, etc.

It’s in the database, the txp_lang table. You can either change it there (using phpMyAdmin), or modify the language file (/textpattern/lang/en-gb.txt), upload it to the server and manually install it (admin > preferences > manage languages > install from file).

I was also looking to do this. if i want to modify a language pack other than english locally, where can i download it from? google is not helping with this one.

Good question Kemie! Meaning: I don’t know :( I’ve made my changes to en-gb.txt and keep a record of these, so that with every upgrade I can modify and re-install the file again. I’ve only changed some things that are displayed on the public side of the site, so I don’t need a localized language pack.

It is mentioned in the software on the “manage language” tab, look at the bottom:
To install new languages from file you can download them from http://rpc.textpattern.com/lang/ and place them inside your ./textpattern/lang/ directory.
