Plugin Search / Request: Image controls (search / mass delete / change
Hi-
I’m looking for a pluging, and I guess that if no such plugin exists, I’m hoping someone will also see the need and be inspired to come up with a solution.
What I’m looking for is something that’ll bring the same kind of controls to the image tab as there are on the article tab: the ability to search, to select (all), and to delete the selected items. It’s possible to change the section of all selected articles; with images, it would be nice to change the category of the entire selection in one go.
My personal site sports a couple of galleries, and most of those do not need to be around forever (some things are only interesting for so long…), but deleting images – even if they all belong to one category – proved a very painstaking process. And then there’s those who need to remove images for other reasons, as in this post.

There is a larger dialogue happening here that you might be a part of. We are on the advent of another release that could include such things :)
