BikeCharlotte.net
BikeCharlotte.net began as a section on my journal.
After a couple of weeks, I decided to register a domain and move the section over:
- I copied the directory structure
- Edited the config.php file
- Did an export/import in phpMyAdmin
- Changed a few settings in preferences
- A few tweaks here and there
Live site up in 30 minutes.
Ranked high on msn search, priceless ;)

matthew, I would need to have permissions per section, that’s why I posted in the Rights and Permissions thread.
alex, just getting the basic structure worked out and then I’ll decide on a template for it. I’m kind of fond of the default template, very easy to get a site up and running.
