Question about comments styling
(Yes, I’ve read the FAQ’s)
I’ve searched this forum over and over and even searched google and couldn’t find my answer, so now I’m coming to the pros.
The default display of comment numbers is this <strong>1</strong>–I want the braces to go bye-bye. I’ve looked in comments.php to try and hack it, but I don’t see them anywhere. How do I get rid of them, I don’t like them. I also don’t like that the number isn’t linked, I’d like to change that too if possible. Is it?
TIA!
Enjoying Txp more and more everyday.
(Edit: updated thread title. :) -Mary)

Re: Question about comments styling
hi popstalin
You can try:
<a href="<txp:permlink />#comment"><txp:comments_count /> <txp:comments_invite textonly="0" showcount="0" /></a>
Then, try the infinite variations and keep enjoying TXP.
PS: that “(Yes, I’ve read the FAQs)” in the thread title doesnt add nothing more than “noise” to the forum. You could tell us that directly in the thread.

Re: Question about comments styling
You want to customize your “comments” form.

Mary, I thought and still think he/she wants to customize the comments invite link.

Re: Question about comments styling
Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for. Sorry for the “added noise” I’ve never had much luck with help forums.
PS, she.
