Problem setting up
I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I have followed (or at least think I have) the detailed setup instructions but I can’t even get textpattern to come up. I see it on my ftp address but when I go to setup/index.php it goes to my Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10 & then I get a message saying that doesn’t support it. I am so completely at a loss to what I’m doing wrong. I have tried everything twice & it’s still not working. AUGH!!
So, I’m stuck at Setup and Configuration. Can someone PLEASE help me? Thank you!!!

A couple of things:
- Make sure that your Textpattern files are in a publicly viewable directory (usually <code>public_html</code> or similar).
- Keep in mind that the location of install files is <code>textpattern/setup/</code>. You may have another directory called <code>setup/</code> that is something else Digital Image Suite related. Make sure you’re going to the right place.

So you have…
- unpacked the TXP files locally
- uploaded them to your web host using FTP
- used a web browser to visit http://your.site/textpattern/setup
and you don’t get the TXP setup screen?
Let’s check some basics. Does your host support PHP, and if so, is it enabled?
