PunBB has this option:
This feature displays a dot in front of topics in viewforum.php in case the currently logged in user has posted in that topic earlier. Disable if you are experiencing high server load.

Just wondering if it would be useful to turn this on for this forum, makes it easier to see what topics you have activity on, rather than relying on your memory.

Yes, that’s not a simple change so I’d rather leave it up to the PunBB people, as they have the time and resources to do proper testing. :)
