No such file, Failed opening, Call to undefined function...
Please dont tell me to read some vauge faq.

I followed the hints, and still get this message.
What do I need to do to fix this?

Well, first off, read the FAQ (which is not vague but instead provides a series of useful suggestions): How should I ask for help on the forum?
We need to know more. Was your site working before, and if so, what changes were made?
It looks as though there’s some inconsistency in the files in your TXP installation which may have been the result of an incomplete upgrade. You may want to unpack a fresh copy of Textpattern and follow the instructions for upgrading.

Is this a new install, and did the setup go all right? If so, is there a file named config.php in the appropriate directory? What, if any, changes have you made since uploading?
If this is an upgrade, what have you changed recently?
Please note that we are not official staffers who are paid to answer forum queries, but users who volunteer their time for no other reason than our love of the software. We all have other demands on our time (not least of which is updating our own sites), so telling us that you didn’t read or don’t want to read <a href=“http://textpattern.com/faq/”>the FAQ</a>, or indeed telling us what we should and shouldn’t do, isn’t really going to help you in getting your problem resolved. We’re here because we want to help, but we’re also not about to do your research for you.

Mary, I don’t mean this as a criticism, but in this case changing the thread title might have been more confusing than helpful. The “no such file, Failed opening…” wasn’t the error I saw when I visited Maccay’s site last night, and I wasn’t sure for a sec if I was looking at the same thread or not.
Oh, well.
