Diagnose Wrong parameter count for php_uname() in include/txp_diag.php

I just installed Textpattern and I recieved following warning in the Diagnose pannel:

Warning: Wrong parameter count for php_uname() in /home/www/global/textpattern/textpattern/include/txp_diag.php on line 283

I use: Version Textpattern: 4.0.3 (r1188)

I use the mysql username “root” without any password.

Might this be the reason for the warning?

If not, what is wrong and does this disturb the use of textpattern?

Thanks for any reply

Mirko

Re: Diagnose Wrong parameter count for php_uname() in include/txp_diag.php

You are likely using a PHP version hat is too old and thus not supported. Did you check your system against the requirements [PHP 4.3+ etc.] on the download-page before installing?

So while the error message is not important (it only means we failed to fetch a system information that is only displayed on the diagnostics page), the fact that your PHP version is not supported (If I am correct, that is) will likely lead you to problems here and there.
