TXP for a french photographer & reporter

Here’s the site I realised for a friend who love traveling in the east europ.
I used TXP and BBClone for the stats.

Merci Alexandra…

Sorry but I’m a little sick today : but I promise that I take the time to give you here the “structure” of this site which use a lot of plugins and hacked plugins (keywords, …) in a few days.

Re: TXP for a french photographer & reporter

Well let’s go with my little english ;-)

  • The master navigation is set by section and I use the plugin mdp_sectionmenu of Marshall Potter; to order the sections titles the way I want, I change their name like this : Section name : A_actualites, Section title : Actualités, Section name : B_reportages, Section title : Reportages, … then I can change the order only in changing the first letter of the Section name.
  • There’s 2 sections with particular pages
  • The first one “Reportages” uses the plugin chh_keywords of Coke Harrington to built the “Navigation” list : there’re key-words in each article of “Reportages” using custom field 1 (2 or 3 or 4 key-words). The little portfolio that comes at the end of each article is a list of thumbnail with popup function with the help of a plugin that I’ve build : “prad_thumbnail” it’s a hacked version of the Textpattern function “thumbnail” merged with “rss_thumbpop” of “Rob Sable” to have popup windows.
  • The second one “Portfolio” uses a plugin that I’ve build : “prad_image_index” it’s a hacked version of the Textpattern function “image_index” merged with “rss_thumbpop” of “Rob Sable” to have popup windows of images category. There’s one article by image category, and in this article, only the call to the image category.

humm… hope it will be clear!

Re: TXP for a french photographer & reporter

did you ever publish prad_image_index? If not, would you mind adding it to the plugin forum?
