Orangescale.NET
Hello,
I am Thomas Arie Setiawan, from Indonesia (South East Asia).
I just created a new blog using Textpattern in a new domain. Before I use MT (for about 2 years?). I think it is time for Textpattern.
You can see my blog at: http://orangescale.net/
Any comments and suggestions welcome..
rdgs,
Thomas Arie S.

Hi, Thomas
Blog ini indah sekali! Your blog looks great. Fresh, logical and beautiful to look at. The only thing I’d wonder about is the width for users with a smaller screen. And you’ve got a broken link on your contact page – the Butterfly Template link.
All the best,
Will

Re: Orangescale.NET
Thanks Will for your comment. About the broken link, I have fixed it. Thanks!
About the width, I made it for 1024 (and above) screen resolution. I know that there are some people using the 800 × 600 screen resolution.
Yeah, my site probably “not that friendly” in term of screen resolution. But if it is opened in 800 × 600 for example, they can see the “two” column.
Another reason is that I have plan of putting “more” items in the page. So, I think I choose to use the wider width.
Terima kasih. Bisa bahasa Indonesia?

Hi Thomas,
I knew your name sounded familiar, small web.
I contacted you a while back for permission to port your EE template to Nucleus, it was called Laila.
Your site looks great, welcome to TXP.

Re: Orangescale.NET
Hi,
which raises the question… has Laila been ported to TXP?

About Laila, I have it in my local PC, anyone interested Laila in TxP? I still fix some forms there. Or, anyone already ported to TxP?

Re: Orangescale.NET
Hi,
yes, at least I would be interested in a TXP version of Laila – if that’s possible.
Greetings

Re: Orangescale.NET
Hi again,
and oops – I just realized you’re the designer of Laila…
Compliments! It’s an absolutely lovely design, straighforward, clearcut and almost “Bauhaus” in its beautiful simplicity of design. I loved it already for Nucleus! It would be so great to have it also for TXP. If that styleswitcher thing won’t function for TXP I don’t mind, I just love the design itself :-)
Greetings

Re: Orangescale.NET
After quite sometime, I just redesigned my blog. And — of course — still using Textpattern, and still in the same location: http://orangescale.net
In my redesign, I just want to make the content more organized. And I want to get the most from Textpattern. ;)
About the Laila theme, I will be posting about this in the next few minutes. I am working on it. And try to implement it in Textpattern. Just wait…

Laila for Textpattern, you mean like this?
