The same URL-only title is used by 2 different articles
When I edit my articles and save them I get this error message.
Article posted (The same URL-only title is used by 2 different articles)
Can anyone enlighten me as to what it means and how serious it might be?
Searching the FAQ, the forums and Google turns up no answers…

You don’t mean that happens with all your articles I suppose?
URL-only title (under Advanced options in the Write screen).
The message means exactly what it says ;) You must have used the same article title twice. In that case you can change the URL-only title to something like ‘your-article-title-2’.

The url-only title is created the first time an article is saved. If you change the title later, the url-only title is not updated. You have to do this yourself, either by typing in the new url-only title, or by emptying the field so an new url-only title based on the current article title will be created.

Changing the URL on live articles is generall a bad thing, because cool URIs don’t change. For those cases where you wish you to do it anyway, you can do so manually, as Els described.

That’s a truth as a cow as we say in Dutch ;) but if you change the section of an article, the URL will change anyhow (if /section/ is in the URL).
