How do I auto-tidy my HTML and indent in the editor
I have searched the forum but can’t find reference to this.
1) Is there a way of automatically formatting my HTML code in the Presentation, Pages editor? i.e. Is there some magic key combination that will do this?
2) In the same editor, how do I indent a line (normally tab would be used to do this) without simply putting in lots of leading spaces?
Thanks in advance.
Phil, UK.

<a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=7454”>upm_quicktags</a> is a plugin that works for articles, pages and forms.
As for indenting, I’ll have to defer the question over to someone else.
Of course, you could always format and indent your markup in another editor then copy/paste that into the admin interface. That’s usually the way I do it since most of my original markup is done in another program.

The Tab issue is a browser limitation, nothing much we can do about it. There’s a Firefox extension that changes the behaviour.

There’s also this from mary. Works nicely in most browsers.
