REQ: email on comment followup

hi there,

i thought i have seen this before, but whatever search phrases i use: i cannot find it any more.

so can you tell me if there’s a plugin out there which implements a “email me when someone answers to my comment” (well, maybe “subscribe to this comment thread” or something, if you know what i mean) function? its such a good way to get noticed when not using a feed reader… but i cannot find out how :-( is there only serendipity that can do this?

This sounds similar to my Email-on-Post plugin. It’s definitely something that can be done. Question is if anyone has time to work it out. If I can help with this I will but I’m working on two other plugins at the moment and not feeling very eager to pick up another one just yet.

I would definitely like a ‘subcribe to this topic’ type thing. Sorry, don’t have any idea where to start with creating one but you have my best wishes if that helps at all.
