Re: sort my articles into issues?
Hye everybody, I’m back with my questions. The magazine is coming into shape. I used a custom field after all and two sections : articles and issues. One of the hard things was to only display the last issue on the frontpage, but I achieved this by adding a line of code in publish.php. I might actually make a little tutorial once it will all be over.
So now the question, I’d like each issue-page to display the articles with the same value in custom_field. Is this going to require an extra line of code too? It’s really still the same old Txp:related_articles question. Make it work on custom fields!

Re: sort my articles into issues?
mmmh.. well, I really don’t know about the dates. I’d personally hate to use them. I’ve managed to reduce it to just typing the issue-number in a custom field. I also needed an editorial and a title for each issue, which I’ve achieved pretty easily with an issue section. chh_related_articles really does miracles. And, thinking about it, I could make a little code auto-incrementing the issue-number every time one is written. And automaticaly adding the last issue’s number to each new article.
Also notice that, as Zem said in post 7 above, you can group them by weeknumber.
Anyway, if you’d like to know more about my way of doing it, just ask.
