Autoformating issue.

Hi

I’m using TXP 4.03 and admin it in my browser of choice; Firefox.

I have noticed a strange issue when editing an article in Firefox.
If I cut and paste a text from for example Word the formating works fine. That is no unwanted linebreaks.
But when I edit the same article Textile autoformats the text and adds a few linebreaks here and there.
This makes the editing process irritating and slow, since I have to edit not only the info in the article, but also the formating that Textile screwed up.

Is there any way to deal with this issue?

Re: Autoformating issue.

Sounds like there are no obvious linebreaks, but they are there. Textile doesn’t add line breaks by itself, but it will format line breaks as <br /> tags.

It’s an issue with Word and/or Firefox, not Textpattern.

I would agree Zem.
I actually have some problems cutting and pasting from Word into TxP (like curly quotes not pasting properly). So I paste into a text editor first. That shows up any line breaks and other anomalies.
