Resume Site for Environment
Getting the hang of TXP, this is my 2nd site. Please visit
http://ryansmithosborne.com for a resume/profile of an environmental lawyer seeking a law firm.

Re: Resume Site for Environment
It lloks really good! You may want to fade out the far right of your forest image as you did the bottom so that it blends to your body background color, so that on large displays it fades away into your background. Also you have a few minor warnings on your code, the biggest is that your container div has no closing tag.
Great work though. I like the header tie in with you background image. It works nicely.

Re: Resume Site for Environment
Hi vicco,
nice site and nice the idea of implementing TXP to manage a resume site.
What I have find not very clear is the links to pdfs and doc files.
I mean, it’s not clear that those links are differents depending where you are in the site.
For example, if I go to “Writing Samples” and visit each sample, I found difficult for the average user to find out that the icons in the top right corner are linking to related files.
And also, those linked icons appear not only in “Writing Samples” but also in the homepage and in the “Resume” section, so, they could be confusing.
er… now I have found an explanation at the home page… I didnt read that. But still I think the icons are not very intuitive if you didnt read the homepage…
Finally, check some warnings in the code. I recommend you the HTML Tidy Extension for Mozilla Firefox
Install it and look for the green icon! :)
