Remove <p> from <txp:excerpt />
Hello,
are there any ways of removing/disabling the (p) that are automaticly added around the (txp:excerpt /). I prefer to make the paragraphs myself, or even better: turn off textile from the excerpt.
Thanks in advance. ^^

First of all for semantic reasons it is not advisable to remove the p tags, really. Texts should be placed in p tags.
If you still like to, you can use a plugin. I am not sure but think, this one:
http://www.upm-plugins.com/upm-textile-toggle
is it.

Thanks Alexandra, this plugin is just what I needed. ^^
The reason I wanted this plugin is because I need to mix in a few tags before the excerpt can start. I wrap a p tag around the excerpt myself to have more control over the output.

Silly me.. there’s an option for that when you write the post.. the plugin will save me the extra few clicks though. ^^

Well if I’m not mistaken kimiko, and if you don’t want to use a plug-in or mess with the advanced options on the editing screen, you could just leave a blank space before the excerpt which would switch Textile off.
