Yes that makes sense. Use for example category1 to number to issues, and category2 for actual categories. Or you could create a section for each issue.
Right now, there is only limited amount of workflow. You can decide that your “common author privileges” are maxed out to put their article in the ‘waiting for validation” status, and have a copy editor (or whatever) approve of that and publish them. That’s pretty all.
And no, no bio or author metadatas yet. We’re trying to lure the dev team into it for the next major release :p
