Printable Calendar

I’m putting together a site for a Youth Football League and would like to generate a printable calendar so parents can go to the site and print out the current month that has all the related events/games, etc. on them.

Visually, I’m looking at something like this: http://eteamz.active.com/NMYFA/calendar/

Any ideas on how I could accomplish with TXP? I’ve seen some of the calendar plug-ins, but they appear to be more of a navigation for entries where you click on the day and it goes to the entry associated with it. I need to be able to add the entry and it show up in a full size calendar view like the link above.

I remember seeing something similar recently that made just that kind of calendar out of a list of hCalendar microformat entries. It used a Javascript script to build it and there’s a microformats plugin for textpattern too. The only problem, I don’t remember where I saw it and can’t find it on a quick search. Google to the rescue.

or try some of the calendar solutions already available (see list lower down on the post for a whole series).

Thanks, Jakob for the info and links. This isn’t dynamic, but I did come across this css calendar layout. You have to enter in the events manually, but I think it might be the best solution for now …
