Archiving by Issue
Hi there folks, I am starting up a Textpatternized magazine and I am trying to figure out how to to organize my archives into issue numbers.
For instance, I don’t really care about when an article is released on my site, but when the user goes to the archive section, they can see a list of articles grouped by issue number. I have designated categories for each issue, for instance “001”, “002”, “003” etc.
So, ideally, this is what the user would see:

Issue #002
Article
Article
Article
Article
Issue #001
Article
Article
Article

And so on. Is this possible? Is there a nifty plugin that would do that job? Thanks for any help at all :)

Re: Archiving by Issue
Thanks for the reply —
is it possible to do that with categories instead of sections? I already have sections for my articles (like Editorials, Features, etc).

Re: Archiving by Issue
Thanks, I got it. I used
<txp:category_list />

Re: Archiving by Issue
Yes, you can use the FAQ method to group by category, or anything else.
