Serious Problem
When I go to any page from my TXP directory, I see this:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/mountvie/public_html/theatre/textpattern/publish.php(934) : eval()’d code on line 42
I’ve replaced every file (except config.php) in my /textpattern directory with fresh ones, but I’ve still got the problem.

Re: Serious Problem
You have some PHP code or <? php .. ?>
tags in one of your templates, forms or articles.

Re: Serious Problem
What have you got for your custom field names (advanced admin prefs)?
Never mind, Alex pointed out I was looking at the wrong release.

Re: Serious Problem
Take it out, or fix it. That code is causing the error.
If you need to use PHP in a template or article, this FAQ explains how.

Re: Serious Problem
Thanks, I’ve fixed it. It seems wierd that as long as I’ve been using TXP, I’ve never needed PHP until now. Anyway, thanks everyone.
