Alex, I’m not so sure that this is to do with the CSS. I’m more interested in the fact that in your original code at the top of this page you have label=”“. I think this may cause a problem as the “value” for the input is the same as the value you have given for “label” (or it picks up the default label if you don’t specify one) and in you original code this would mean that $value has no value.
Now that you have changed things I note that $value is now equal to “send” which suggest you have removed the label attribute or changed it to label=“send”. Have you tried bringing the CSS back in now that you have changed your form’s code?

Stu, if i remove Send from label (label=”“) form does not work. If i leave one space in label (label=” “) form works – at least i get error messages. I will debug a little more later and let you know.

Well think about this for a minute. There is no need at all to include the “label” attribute in the tag. The default text is “Send” however, this text is part of the language plug-in so if you want it to say something else, maybe in German, change it in that plug-in and don’t bother with the “label” attribute in the tag.
