Add icons for feeds

Newbie question: I want to add icons next to my feed links (RSS/Atom). The “feed_link” tag is a single tag, and I don’t see any attributes on it for an image or HTML. Do I have to add a new hyperlink and image myself and use an absolute URL to get this to work, or is there something available in textpattern that I’ve overlooked?

Edit: I should add that I want the icon to be clickable as part of the feed hyperlink.

Yes, you’d need to make up the html itself.

You don’t have to hardcode an absolute url, you can make the link(s) like <txp:site_url />rss.
