Multiple install... is there a practical guide anywhere?
Hi
I have my own txp install, but want to demo another install off the same server but in a different directory.
ie
*public/txp_mine
*public/txp_demo
I have read and re read this approach (http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=3612) but can’t seem to sort it. Has anyone written this up anywhere as a process? I am happy to have multiple db’s or table prefixes..whatever. Just be nice to get it working without staying up all night.

The easiest way is to simply make independent installs. The only thing to look out for is entering a different table-prefix during the setup-process of your second install. (There is no limit to the number of textpattern installations you can have in this way).
