goodbye doggiez... welcome Els!

Hi,

You have to be a brave man woman to accept the moderation of “How do I…?” forum!

Congratulation, Els (aka doggiez)!

So, here is your first “How do I…?” question to answer…

“How do I… change my name in forum?” :D
I would love to become “maniquí” (with the tilde in the í) :D

Yeah, changing my forum name into my real name won’t put an end to that confusion I’m afraid… ;) except for dutch forum users that are not over-represented here.

Maniquí, the secret is… ask Mary to change it for you ;)

Re: goodbye doggiez... welcome Els!

Hi Els,

sorry! :S

Hey… I would bet that “Els” is the corresponding for the spanish name “Elsa” -> this is a woman name.
But I have arrived to that conclusion right now.

So I have to ask mary to become the “maniquí” (or maybe Maniquí, with capital M… I cant take a decision!)

Mary… could you…? :D

Very clever :) In dutch it can be short for either Elsa or Elizabeth. I’m not going to tell which one is applicable for me because I just want to be Els ;)

It may (I don’t know for certain, one way or another) not be a good idea to have international letters in your login name. But, you’ll notice that if you specified a real name in your profile, it now appears in your post user info, on the left-hand side.

Re: goodbye doggiez... welcome Els!

I though about the international letters as a bad idea two, but I asked because I have the “Maniquí” name in other forum (one managed by vBulletin).

I saw there my real name! :D
But Maniquí isnt real, eh… it means… “mannequin” or “mannekin”, not sure wich one is the english word.

Thanks anyway, dont care about the change.
