Recent articles list within section

Hi everyone – this is my first post and I apologize in advance if I break any rule this forum obeys. I’ve looked thru a certain quantity of post but can’t find the solution to my problem. Here’s my issue

I have a site (local server) which has 3 different sections.

My site |__ technology (section) —> list of recent articles that belongs to the technology section |__ sport (section) —> list of recent articles that belongs to the sport section |__ business (section) —> list of recent articles that belongs to the business section

I’d like to be able to list recent articles within their section and not a global list of recent articles. I thought it’d be simple.. (or I thought I was smart !)
That would be great if categories were not implied – I’d like to sort recent posts in every section according to the date

Welcome pims,

You could achieve your goal by simple using txp:article tag. (follow the link for the tag description and the attributes).

Txp:article is context-sensitive. That is, when in a article-list context (like frontpage of a section /sport/) it will output a list of articles, and when in individual-article context will output the article called by the URL.
