get rid of this code in my parsed page?
Hi there,
This code keeps on appearing between my article text and my comments form on my comments page. Ive looked right through my forms but i cant see this code or anything that would create this code:
<code>/textpattern/about/30/maybe-one-day-itll-happen#cpreview” id=“txpCommentInputForm”></code>
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Re: get rid of this code in my parsed page?
Hi alex,
I have searched the FAQ already. I cant find anything that relates to my problem at all. One post is titled ‘ code in article body’ and sounds like it should be answer but its not!

That FAQ is the solution to your problem. The forum thread it links to describes exactly the same symptom.

ok ive read that faq. Thing is i have replaced the standard form with one that uses dl dd and dt tags. Its better markup. Is it not possible to use my own form without the aforementioned code showing up?

Re: get rid of this code in my parsed page?
You can change the comment input form markup, as long as you don’t hard-code your own <input ...>
tags, as the FAQ says.
Your best option is to revert to the default comment input form, linked in that FAQ, and change its markup without replacing the <txp:...>
tags.
