Intergrated home page problems

I’m currently attempting to construct a ‘zine’ and would really like a busy front page with links to articles from various places. at the moment im struggling.

I have the ‘news’ items working correctly, but when i post any other articles they appear with the news, despite being in a different category. So for this I did a custom article include just showing news, only now…the comments dont work when clicked.

Any ideas?

article_custom allows you to set a particular category to display

e.g. <txp:article_custom category="news" />

is that what you’re doing in your page template?

edit: alternatively place your non-news articles in another section and in PRESENTATION/SECTIONS you can control which sections appear on the front page (when you have a txp:article tag there)

thanks alot, that worked.

Although now I cant seem to get the items in the “review” column to take me to the whole article.
