Crazy rss?

My rss is working, but if I validate it (because css validator wants to validate rss first), on the validation page is html code of my error 404 page (the code of Error 404 of my hosting provider)!!??

How it is possible? The http://wordstudio.cz/rss is normally working

Because it can’t find the url: “404 – File not found…”, and the url isn’t working, http://wordstudio.cz/rss gives me a 404 error too. Looks like you’ve done something with the files, because messy urls (http://wordstudio.cz/index.php?rss=1) don’t work either.

Yes, I have written the wrong path. I have also written the wrong path into the validator – I’m sorry – so this problem is ok (http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.wordstudio.cz%2Frss ).

But when I want to validate my css file on http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.wordstudio.cz&usermedium=all it writes that my xml isn’t ok. Why?

Please read the error message that the CSS validator gives you. It tells you precisely what the problem is.

I’m wary of rss validators. I’ve seen rss feeds validate on one but not others and then a different feed not validate where the first one did and validate where it didn’t. I’ve also seen feeds assembled by hand to the RSS ‘spec’ (such as they are) not validate at all.

IMHO RSS really needs to get it’s act together ala W3C type standards.
