How do I password protect a section without allowin acess to admin?

Hello. I am building a site where I need a client to login to use a form. I don’t want them to have any acess to textpatterns back end. I’ve done a little research and I am still cofused. Can I this with txp or am I going to have to use plugins, php, etc?

Scenerio:

1. Client is directed to the url or types it into the address bar
2. Client is confronted with user and password requirement
3. Client enters correct info and is directed to the form that needs to be filled

Note. I don’t need to use cookies, etc. I just don’ wan’t the public to view the form because it is only specific to a certain group of clients.
