Articles from Category ... sub-category and parent
Hello.
I’m trying to work it out how to show articles from Main category (which is parent to ONE TWO THREE):
CATEGORIES
Main- ONE
- TWO
- THREE
- ALFA
- BETA
- GAMMA
So the question is how to show 1 article from a MAIN (parent) category – it doesn’t matter if it’ll be from one two or three. I just want to show up an excerpt of an article on the front page … :(

You could try using the “article_custom” tag so <code><txp:article_custom limit=“1” category=“Main” /></code> unless I’ve missed the point somewhere.

That won’t work, it checks for straight column equivalency, it doesn’t understand hierarchy at this point.
