HTML tags interfere with search_results_excerpt

If you use markup around the first word of an article, and your search term is that first word, the search_result_excerpt tag doesn’t return anything. I checked in all three markup modes, with the same result.

Example:

1. Take the default first post, and search for “lorem”. You get the expected result.
2. Surround that word with say the strong tag (<strong>lorem</strong>) and search again. The result will come up, and other tags work fine, but search_result_excerpt doesn’t return anything.
