Re: G17a Released

Nryberg, you see the three calls to rebuild_tree() at the bottom of the script?

Can you

  • comment out all but article, then run it
  • comment out all but image, then run it
  • comment out all but link, then run it

That’s the frustrating part – works fine on my machine…

That would help – email me at dean at textism.com

Re: G17a Released

Okay – now we’re getting somewhere.

I took three runs at the update script per instructions, and now have all cat’s visible on the organise tab, however I’ve got the following errors too:

==
Warning: str_repeat(): Second argument has to be greater than or equal to 0. in /usr/home/nryberg/80miles/textpattern/include/txp_category.php on line 71

Warning: str_repeat(): Second argument has to be greater than or equal to 0. in /usr/home/nryberg/80miles/textpattern/include/txp_category.php on line 189 ==

I’ve added you as a publisher, hopefully the e-mail is working correctly.

Take it easy, citoyen Allen. We’ll live. We’re all humble gamma users, and there can be no complaints.

Re: G17a Released

Nothing has been altered and none of your data has been lost – there’s merely a problem rebuilding the category tree. Yes, there will be an update for everyone.

Re: G17a Released

Dean, have you looked at TDD? I’ve found that a test suite is a great way to turn feedback from skilled folks like your bug finders into regression tests. Also it lets developers refactor with confidence that nothing’s breaking unexpectedly.

I’d be happy to lead or participate in the creation of a test suite for Textpattern, if there’s interest.
