[request] determine a layout based on content vs. space
Hi! I’m back after a long hiatus, and am in the process of redesigning my site. I’m looking for a plugin, like the title says, that is able to determine a layout and the amount of content for a fixed space.
In my case, I intend to have a 2×2 grid of images. There are a number of possible permutations in the layout, and it will hold 2 to 4 images depending on their size.
Case 1:
A | C
B | D
Case 2:
A | B
A | B
Case 3:
A | C
B | C
Case 4:
A | B
A | C
Is there a plugin available to pull the latest 2, 3, or 4 images from the database and fit them into the grid, given the image size?
I know it sounds a little complex, but I’d appreciate any help. Thanks!
