Wanted: podcasting/enclosures plugin

I’m thinking of starting an mp3 blog and a helpful thing would be RSS enclosures. Googling these forums brings up only two threads, one of which seems to indicate it might be possible to build the necessary extra features in plugin form. Is that true, and if so, do any of you magical plugin wizards feel like tackling it? Gosh, I sure hope so!

my understanding is the ultra-fancy xml-goodness in 1.0 would make this a “snap”. But then again, I might be wrong.
