Danish translation

Hey!
I just finished a danish translation, you can find it here:

http://harry.25cl.org/misc/da-dk.txt

But. Theres a few strings around the file that still needs to be translated, and some other ones that probally has to be changed a bit. So if theres some danish users who would download this and use it, so we could find errors and stuff?

If you find any, please write them here and i will make sure it gets updated.

Re: Danish translation

New revised version is up. I replaced all æøå’s with the respective HTML code for them – making sure that they do not get fucked up.

Also it seems that the danish translation was included in SVN, but its the older one – without HTML special codes – will you please replace it?

Thanks

Re: Danish translation

If you save the document in utf-8 instead the danish chars will not be “fucked up”.

Re: Danish translation

Well, if i set the encoding to UTF-8 i cannot even write danish chars. And, the other way round it just always works. :)

Re: Danish translation

Then again the HTML codes do not work in drop-down boxes. Christ. If i set encoding=utf-8 in vim i cannot write æøå’s. :(

Re: Danish translation

The server went down. Should work now. If you find any errors or something that has to be changed, tell me, thanks :)

Anyways, my æøå’s still do not work. I think it is internally in TXP. Which version do you use?

Re: Danish translation

I use the (almost) newest revision.
I think some new tag-translations have come up among the new revisions as well. Mostly file-upload stuff.

There are a few global terms I suggest should be different, because they probably would help a better understanding, and also facilitate further use of forums and online help:

The ‘Page’ stuff: Skabelon
‘Section’ stuff: Sektion
‘Form’ stuff: Modul.
I had a look at the sweedish translation which is good, and especially the french one, which is very explanatory in it’s choice of tearms.

Site stuff: Site-indstillinger; Site-url; Site-navn osv.

I think I’ll just mail you my unfinnished version, and then you can pick and choose from it if you want..
Later- this evening, that is – then I’ll be home again!

Re: Danish translation

harryv Here it is – another da-dk.text – use it/change it as you please. I finished the one I had already started. You will, I think, find “æøå” working just fine in this(except from inside popup menus which probably are parsed through a different file I don’t know.)
Filestuff is inside as well.

Hope it can be of some help – Hej og god fornøjelse!

edit: the file is now updated to contain same amount as en-us.txt newest revision(344)
edit: The file has been moved for a while, sorry. – it is now back in place.
