Any interest in these plugins?
Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of plugins I’ve created that I want to share with the community. The most ready-to-go ones I have are:
- send2afriend (bog standard email article to friend form)
- most_popular_articles (lists which articles have been most viewed—if you have logging enabled)
- mentions (builds on Dean’s vapourware :)
- autolinks (scans for keywords in the article and turns them into links—eg you could setup Textpattern as a keyword and the first time that keyword appears in an article it will become a link to http://www.textpattern.com
- sifr_headline (use any font you own in headline text)
However I still want to give them a good testing before I release them out, so I’d be interested to know which ones have the most interest so I can work on those first.
cheers,
Adrian

Re: Any interest in these plugins?
I’d be happy to test the most_popular_articles plugin… I have a couple of sites where that would fit in nicelt… ;-)
Actually add auto_links to the list too…
Thanks!

Re: Any interest in these plugins?
Great, glad there is interest!
I use g1.19 so I can’t say if they work in 1.0 RC2. Ultimately I’d like them working with 1.0 once it’s released.
Well, I’ll try and get sifr, send2afriend and most_popular out on Thursday/Friday and the other two next week.
Thanks for offering to help test. Once I’ve released them any bug reports would be very handy!
Stay tuned!

Re: Any interest in these plugins?
sifr headline!
if i ever get the time, i’m hoping to finish a single-js-file merging of sIFR, IFR & Geoff Stearns’ flashObject, as i find myself using at least two on many of my sites/pages. so hopefully – again, assuming i ever get back to it – we can collaborate on plugin-izing it.

Re: Any interest in these plugins?
Just letting you know I’m still working on these!
I “Misunerestimated” how long getting things to work under clean/messy URLs, Apache/IIS, different versions of TXP etc….
Anyway, I hope to at least be releasing “most_popular_articles” by tomorrow.
>>can you email the plugin to me?
Nah, because once I email it to one person…
>>we can collaborate on plugin-izing it
Sounds cool!
Anyway, life away-from-the-computer calls me.
