Any script savy people up for a plugin commission/ranson then release?

I am trying to help a friend re-do his attrocous web site and would like to put it together in txp for him. He is a photographer and would like like to watermark his images so that he can post higher res images without fear of them “disappering” and “reappearing” somewhere else. Kind of like <a href=“http://istockphoto.com”>istock</a> uses. I found <a href=“http://tips.prettyworthless.com/?tip=watermark#tip”>this</a> and thought it would make a great idea for a plugin. You could tag your image id xxx_watermark image=“57” mark=“1” and have a txp uploaded watermark that could be swapped out or even multiple watermarks to choose from. I am not php savy but I thought I would hang it out there.

What about using Gallery ? It has a ton of features, including automatic watermarking. If he’s going to putting up a lot of pictures it’s probably worth it.

Sweet Steve I haven’t seen this. I will download this and play with it today. I was hoping for txp intergation of batch uploading in the next relase making it easier to keep everything under “one roof”, but this would certainly fit the bill for the time being.

colak,

Trip out that’s also the script I was looking at. It seems that some php savy txp user could integrate this fairly easily. But that’s coming from me, with no php knowledge. I also wonder if this Gallery that supa recomender could be embedded into txp. It looks like it has modules for mambo and has been embedded into GeekLog as well. That could be a good all in one solution if there is a way to embed.

Also you may go the css way
ie
div#watermark {-moz-opacity:0.3;}
there is a proprietary Microsoft opaque filter too but I don’t know much about that.
