request: configurable image insert
Hello,
I somehow came across this article at 1976design.com . It explains how to use a tag called <imageins /> with some attributes like name, caption, title, etc. which is then parsed by a PHP-function and replaced with a configurable “form” (at least it resembles textpattern’s forms) that can be defined somewhere in a file or a database.
Benefit is that you just need to edit one form to change image-accompanying HTML in every of your articles. I can’t explain it in a better way as my English doesn’t seem to be sufficient enough to convey the reliefs this method would have on future redesigns ;)

Re: request: configurable image insert
A plugin to insert images with caption, and easiest style, has alreay been request several times.
Not out yet (as far as I know) but I don’t doubt it will be published sometime, someday, after the never-ending-waited-1.0.
