Project sites downtime, March 1 2025
Multiple Textpattern project sites were down for a period on the above date.
An automatic upgrade broke the glue connecting PHP to MySQL. A sledgehammer fix then highlighted an issue with MySQL. This was subsequently resolved.
I have updated both Ubuntu servers to Ubuntu 24.04, despite my increasing dislike of the Ubuntu Snap ecosystem.
The planned 2025 server build out will be on Debian, and the remaining Ubuntu servers will be sudo rm -fr /’d sooner rather than later.
