smd_section_roles: limit publishing to specific sections by role
A simple Textpattern plugin to limit publishing articles to specific sections by user role.
Simply install and enable, then visit the plugin’s Prefs panel and set up which sections each user role can access. Users can then:
- Only save/publish articles to one of the nominated sections.
- Only see articles on the Articles list panel in sections they’re permitted to post.
- Only assign articles via multi-edit to sections they have access.
- Only navigate next/prev between articles in sections to which they’ve been given access.
- Not see/edit articles outside of their nominated sections.

Ta. Just an amalgamation of about 5 other plugins for doing various bits and pieces, sprinkled with a little prefs magic. Probably one of the few plugins I’ve written that I’ll never use, but it was a good exercise nonetheless.
