Best place to download theme?
Would Github be the best place to upload theme files for download? Thanks guys, hope everyone is doing ok!

Hi Hilary,
You can make your theme available for downloading from anywhere in theory, but if you use GitHub, then you help other people to take a look before deciding to download.
Also – and this is just conjecture for the moment – the themes may eventually collated for the themes directory on GitHub too, as the plan is for the new plugins directory currently.
If you use GitHub, it can be helpful to use the “releases” feature to make a ready-made downloadable zip of a particular version (especially if you plan on updating it periodically in future). A preview screenshot (or two) would be great too. Also you can assign the tag textpattern-theme to your GitHub repository and that helps it to be discovered.
